How can I impregnate a lightweight tent?

Impregnating a lightweight tent can be quick and easy. With this step-by-step plan, your tent is again watertight and well protected against grime and build-up.

Why impregnating your lightweight tent is important

You can impregnate your tent not only against the rain, but also to provide extra protection against:

  • dirty water
  • Green build-up
  • Fungus
  • Salt
  • Limescale
  • Sand
  • Oil
  • Etc.

The coating that is applied to a lightweight tent in the factory is often not enough. This wears in particular due to UV radiation. Therefore, regularly apply an extra impregnation. This way you can enjoy your tent for longer.
