Cleaning and impregnating awning. How much do I need?
The amount and cleaning and impregnating agent that you need depends on the type of awning, the type of tent canvas, the quality of the tent canvas and the degree of grime. Always follow the instructions on the pack. Take the following factors into account:
- A tent that is a few years old absorbs more impregnating agent than a new tent.
- If you remove grime from an old tent, you need more impregnating agent than on a new tent.
The following applies to impregnating agents: it is better to apply too much impregnating agent than too little.
Example of usage
To give you an impression of the usage, this is the amount of products with a standard size awning. Of course this depends on the grime and the fabric type:
