Do I have to wet the tent canvas before cleaning?

First clean the tent with clean lukewarm water. You do not have to treat all the grime that is removed in this way with the Ultramar products. 

• If the canvas is still wet, spray the Sprayhood & Tent Shampoo on the wet tent canvas.
• Use a plant sprayer or spray for this.
• Now you can brush in the cleaning agent well. 
• If you spray the Sprayhood & Tent Shampoo onto a dry tent in such a way, it may be immediately drawn into the tent canvas and become difficult to foam up and brush in properly.
• Of course this also applies to the fabric of a boat cover, convertible roof or sunshade.
