Are you going to clean and impregnate your convertible roof and do you want to know what the correct amount of cleaning and impregnating agent is? Read here which factors influence this.
No convertible roof is the same
How much impregnating agent and cleaning agent you need depends on:
- the type of convertible top
- the type of convertible fabric
- the quality of the fabric
- The extent of the dirt.
TIP: The following applies in particular to the impregnating agent: it is better to apply too much impregnating agent than too little.
A number of factors that are important:
- A convertible top that is a few years old absorbs more impregnating agent than a new convertible roof.
- The inside sometimes absorbs less impregnating agent than the outside.
- Fresh grime is easier to remove than grime that is a few years old
- If your convertible is in the city all year round, grime is more difficult to remove.
