Waterproofing the stitching of a boat cover is super simple. You do not need a special seam sealer. These actually often leave give ugly stains. The only thing that you have to do is fill the stitching hole until it is closed.
This does not work with many impregnating agents. With our Sprayhood & Tent Protector impregnating agent, this is easy. It is very suitable for waterproofing the seams. Due to the large number of active substances, it is effective with poor stitching.
- Spray the impregnating agent on the stitching. Use a plant sprayer.
- If necessary, rub extra in the holes. For this, use a brush.
- Now allow the fabric to dry.
- Test with water.
- Is it still leaking a little ? Then simply repeat the treatment.
